To encourage people to play the whole season only 50% of the cash collected for a set of matchdays is paid out to the winner and second place of those matchdays, this means that 50% of the cash collected will rollover to the end of the season and whatever is in the rollover pot at the end of the season will be shared out as follows:
1st Place 40% of the total rollover pot
2nd place 30% of the total rollover pot
3rd place 20% of the total rollover pot
4th place 10% of the total rollover pot
This season 41 people joined the competition and paid their £50 up-front this guaranteed the amounts shown in the table as a 1st and 2nd prize for each set of matchdays, it also means that £1,025.00 will roll over to the end of the season so the prize money at the end of the season will be:
1st place £410.00
2nd place £307.50
3rd place £205.00
4th place £102.50
To help decide who wins the rollover monies we have added an extra points scoring system that will reward the skill and judgement of the best players
This season you will be asked to predict the top four and bottom three teams in the
Premier league:
For doing this you will score 5 points for each team that you
correctly predict will finish in
the top four or bottom three places.
Plus you will score an additional 5 points for each team that
finishes in the exact position you predicted.
If all of your Top four predictions are exactly in the right order you will receive
an additional 10 points.
If all of your Bottom three predictions are exactly in the right order you will
receive an additional 10 points.
Your top four and bottom three predictions need to be submitted before the
start of Matchday 17 - so you have plenty of time to think about it.
Once submitted they will be put on your online
score sheet for all to see.
